We are excited to launch the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards at the 2023 CommunityLIVE conference to recognize forward-thinking organizations that are leveraging Hyland’s content services solutions and technology to do amazing things in their organizations and their communities.

Environmental/social impact

Award category description

Recognizing an organization that has used Hyland technology or solution to help make a remarkable, positive impact in a community, for the environment and/or society overall.

Award category judging criteria

Nominations will need to showcase how the customer organization addressed limitations or challenges with Hyland technology or solution, how it has helped to make a positive impact and share plans for future progress and goals. Please share any specific metrics or measurement, visual aids and future plans or roadmap with your submission.

Innovative cloud solution

Award category description

Recognizing an organization that has demonstrated impressive innovation – and achieved incredible results – leveraging a cloud content services solution from Hyland.

Award category judging criteria

Finalists will highlight how their solution drove big benefits inside and/or outside their organization, such as supporting new ways of working, driving modernization objectives and furthering security and compliance initiatives. Please share any specific metrics or measurement, visual aids and future plans or roadmap

Most transformative solution

Award category description

Recognizing an organization that has leveraged Hyland content services to fundamentally transform their organization, processes and/or operations in a notable way.

Award category judging criteria

Nominations will need to describe the organization pre- and post- Hyland solution implementation. Please share any specific metrics or measurement, visual aids and future plans or roadmap with your submission.



Three finalists in each category will be recognized at the Hyland Customer Innovation awards luncheon at CommunityLIVE 2023, where one winner in each category will be announced live! Finalists will be notified in advance and will be eligible to receive a complimentary main conference pass to attend CommunityLIVE 2023. The winner in each category will also be eligible to receive hotel accommodations for their stay at CommunityLIVE 2023.

  • What are the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards?

    The Hyland Customer Innovation Awards recognize forward-thinking organizations that are leveraging Hyland’s content services solutions and technology to do amazing things in their organizations and their communities. 

  • Who is eligible to submit to the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards?

    All members of the Hyland customer-base who are in good standing with Hyland are eligible to submit a nomination. The submitter shall submit on behalf of their team or organization, but each submission must be submitted by one individual who ensures the submittal abides by the rules and regulations of the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards.

    Hyland employees, Hyland’s authorized solution providers and resellers or each of their respective affiliates, agents, officers, employees, or subsidiaries can also submit a nomination on behalf of their customer with the express written permission from the contact at their customer organization identified on the award submission. The solution being submitted for the award category must be in production at a current Hyland customer’s organization. Hyland employees and Hyland authorized solution providers and resellers or each of their respective affiliates, agents, officers, employees, or subsidiaries are not eligible for award prizes.

    By nominating your solution and participating in the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards, you represent that you are authorized to enter to participate and that there are no restrictions/regulations that prohibit your participation or that prohibit receipt/acceptance of the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards prize(s) described herein should your organization’s solution be a finalist or a winner.

     
  • When does the submission deadline close?

    Nominations may be submitted through 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, June 30, 2023. Nominations submitted after Friday, June 30, 2023, will not be considered for the 2023 Hyland Customer Innovation Awards.

  • How do I submit a nomination?

    Submissions must be submitted through the submission form provided to be considered for the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards, and answers to all questions are mandatory. If a question cannot be answered or is not relevant to the application, it should be answered with “N/A” (not applicable). Incomplete or partial submissions will not be considered for the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards.

    Each entry form must be completed in English. The solution can be localized to a non-English language; however, the entry form must be submitted in English.

    All submitted Hyland Customer Innovation Awards entries become the property of Hyland. By submitting an application, you consent to the disclosure of your story, including your organization name, to Hyland Customer Innovation Awards judging panel, and should you win, to participate in the activities required of the award winners.

     
  • Once I submit my solution, can I go back and make updates to my submission before the end of the nomination period?

    No. Once submitted, entries are considered final and cannot be amended.

  • Can I submit my solution for more than one category?

    Yes, you may submit your solution for more than one category. On the nomination form, you will select which category you would like to enter your solution under, and you may select one or multiple categories at that time. Note that solutions may only win within one category, and the same solution cannot win across multiple categories.

  • Can I submit more than one solution from my organization?

    No, submissions are limited to one entry per organization. If multiple entries from one organization are submitted, the submitter(s) will be contacted to confirm which single entry should be put forward for consideration for the 2023 Hyland Customer Innovation Awards.

  • Does the solution I am submitting for consideration have to have been implemented within any certain timeframe?

    Solutions must have been implemented within the last three years (between 2020 – 2023) to be considered for the 2023 Hyland Customer Innovation Awards. 

  • Can other products not from Hyland be a part of my solution?

    Although third-party products may be part of the solution, the key component should be Hyland products. Solutions entered must have been developed using Hyland products and must have been deployed.

  • Do I have to be registered for CommunityLIVE in order to submit?

    You do not have to be registered for CommunityLIVE 2023 in order to submit your solution for the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards.

    However, the finalists will be expected to participate in a Hyland-produced video in advance of CommunityLIVE 2023 so that the video can be used to showcase their solution. The video will be played on Hyland-owned social media channels and video monitors at various times before and during the event as well as at the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards luncheon during CommunityLIVE 2023. By submitting an entry, you consent and authorize such production and use.

  • How many winners will be awarded in each category?

    Using the criteria set forth for each category, the judging panel will select three finalists. From those three finalists, one winner will be announced in each of the following three categories:

    • Environmental/social impact
    • Innovative cloud solution
    • Most transformative solution
  • What is the process for selecting finalists and winners?

    After the nomination period has closed, all submissions will be reviewed by a judging panel of Hyland executives who sit on the senior advisory council for CommunityLIVE 2023 and the presidents of the Hyland User Groups (VOGUEs, OSEG, PCAT) .

    Any judging panel representatives from the Hyland User Groups whose organization has submitted a solution for the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards, will recuse themselves from the review and selection process related to the category(ies) in which their organization submitted a solution.

    Using the judging criteria set forth for each category, the panel will select three finalists in each category and, from those finalists, one winner in each category. The solutions with the best description based on the judging criteria within each category will be selected as the winner.

  • When will the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards finalists and winners be announced?

    Each of the awarded finalists will be notified on August 1, 2023. The three finalists in each category will be recognized throughout CommunityLIVE 2023 and at the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards luncheon, where one winner in each category will be announced live to the Hyland community!

  • What do the finalists in each category receive?

    Subject to the organization’s compliance with the rules and meeting all finalist requirements, each of the three finalists in each category will be eligible to receive the following

    • Award plaque indicating finalist solution, which will be distributed at the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards luncheon at CommunityLIVE 2023.
    • Digital award badge provided in advance of CommunityLIVE 2023 so that finalists can announce their selection on their corporate social media channels and website.
    • A complimentary main conference pass to attend CommunityLIVE 2023 (Tuesday–Thursday, October 3–5, 2023) for the organization to register their representative who will attend the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards luncheon. The complimentary main conference pass to CommunityLIVE 2023 may not be transferred to any other organization or individual. No substitution or cash equivalent of any award is permitted. Hotel or Travel to and from CommunityLIVE 2023 is not included in any finalist award. Finalists are responsible for all additional costs associated with attending CommunityLIVE 2023

    Each of the three finalists in each category will be expected to take part in the following:

    • Execution of any certification of authorization to receive the prizes as may be required by Hyland.
    • Sign-off to appear and participate in promotional material, such as social media announcements, Hyland-produced video showcasing their innovative solution and a quote to be published in a blog on Hyland Community, announcing they’re a finalist as part of the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards (all items subject to pre-approval by winner).
    • Agree to have the recorded video of their winning solution promoted pre- and during the 2023 CommunityLIVE conference as well as part of the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards luncheon Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
     
  • What do the winning submissions in each category receive?

    Subject to the organization’s compliance with these rules and meeting all requirements, in addition to receiving the awards listed above as a finalist, the winner in each category will also be eligible to receive the following:

    • Award plaque indicating winning solution, which will be distributed at the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards luncheon at CommunityLIVE 2023. Winners will only receive a winner plaque and will not receive both a finalist plaque and a winner plaque.
    • Digital award badge provided after CommunityLIVE 2023 so that the winners can announce their win on their corporate social media channels and website.
    • Hotel accommodation for the representative of the organization’s stay at CommunityLIVE 2023 not to exceed four nights of room, tax and resort fees which will be booked and paid for by Hyland. Hyland shall only pay for the regular room rate plus taxes negotiated and booked by Hyland and shall not pay for any additional hotel fees incurred by the organization’s representative, including, but not limited to, room service, movie rental, bar, spa or any other amenities or services that incur additional charges or expense which shall be the winner’s responsibility. The hotel accommodation will be awarded to the organization to provide to their representative who will attend the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards luncheon at CommunityLIVE 2023 and may not be transferred to any other organization or individual. No substitution or cash equivalent of any award is permitted. Airfare to and from CommunityLIVE 2023 conference is not included in any award. Winners are responsible for all additional costs associated with attending CommunityLIVE 2023.

    Each category award winner will be expected to take part in the following:

    • Execution of any certification of authorization to receive the prizes as may be required by Hyland.
    • Sign-off to appear and participate in promotional material, such as social media announcements, video produced by Hyland showcasing the innovative solution and be quoted in a published blog on Hyland Community, announcing their win as part of the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards (all items subject to pre-approval by winner).
    • Agree to have the recorded video of their winning solution promoted before, during and after the CommunityLIVE 2023 event as well as used as part of the programming at the Hyland Customer Innovation Awards luncheon Wednesday, October 4, 2023. The winner will be expected to be present to accept their award and provide brief remarks of their recognition at the luncheon. Should the submitter not be present at CommunityLIVE 2023, a colleague, account representative or other authorized Hyland representative may present on behalf of the winning submitter with prior written approval of Hyland.
