Building a Capture Process

Introduced in OnBase 16 and expanded upon for OnBase 18, the Capture Process Designer is available for all OnBase solutions that leverage imaging. This approach adds a level of complete customization and control over the capture and indexing process in OnBase. Capture Process Designer provides the connection between capture products and functionality, and the rest of your environment. Learn how to send documents to Workflow at any point in your Capture Process, pull values dynamically from other elements in your system, and incorporate any of your Capture products into a Custom Capture Process. Leverage your capture products to add an additional level of control over your process through identifying elements of images to determine document types or keyword values, and then route through appropriate branches in your capture process. You'll learn how to accelerate your capture process and create a solution that your scanning and indexing users will love.

Building Your First Workflow Solution

Are you a System and Workflow Administrator who needs to maintain and build a Workflow solution? You are? Then, this course is for you. We’ll introduce you to OnBase Studio and how to create a basic life cycle in Workflow. You’ll learn essential Workflow functions such as ad hoc tasks, rules, actions and basic security in this hands-on approach to understanding the Workflow interface, interactions and possibilities.

Building Your First WorkView Solution

In this course we will explore the very fundamentals of Workview. We begin the course with easy-to-follow labs designed to help the participants understand the parts of a Workview Solution and learn the configuration of each one of those parts. In the last lab, we will build a Workflow Solution that routes a Workview Object. This class is ideal for someone who wants to obtain a solid fundamental knowledge of Workview.

Enterprise Search Guide to Rapid Solution Prototyping

As an experienced OnBase professional, sometimes it difficult to gain buy-in and attention for solution changes, resources, and greater exposure to your OnBase solution, whether it be new or expanded. So often we believe we have the full set of business requirements, and the stakeholder believes we do as well, but the result doesn't meet expectations or needs. Process Analysis - Lean Six Sigma in Today's World

Learn the basics of lean six sigma to more effectively assess qualitative and quantitative opportunities to improve process, product, and service outputs. Participants will gain real world examples of 5S, Visual, and Standard Work; how it applies in their work area; and where to start. This introductory class will introduce you to the tools that will allow you to build your own solutions to integrate OnBase with third party applications and Line of Business systems."

Workflow has grown substantially over the years. These changes modify not only Workflow triggers, but introduce new functionality for handling keywords, designing and migrating solutions, and logging functionality. This course will cover not only the changes, but how to appropriately add them to new and existing solutions.

WorkView User Interface and Experience Design

So you know how to build WorkView | Case Managers solutions. However, your users seem less than enthusiastic about what they see. One of the most visible parts of your solution is the User Interface. In this course participants will learn of general interface design best practices including examples of good versus bad design. Next, participants will learn how to leverage Cascading Stylesheets to change the rules of how Objects are displayed. Finally, the topic of Client Side JavaScript will be explored. This will include sample solutions commonly needed in most implementations.

Reporting Dashboards has transformed the standard reporting practices used by many OnBase administrators. This session will focus on some of the advanced features in Reporting Dashboards. Users will get hands on experience with the newest features in a controlled environment and see how users can retrieve complex information from other OnBase modules such as WorkView, Workflow and even third party data sources. Attendees will also learn about the new report conversion process for reports that are currently stored in Report Services.

OnBase 201: A Technical Introduction to OnBase

Are you new to OnBase? Learn how to configure an OnBase solution in this hands-on session. We’ll start with basic solution design, and then move on to configuring keywords, document types, Unity Forms and even a basic Workflow. By the end of this session, you’ll have built an OnBase solution. Use this resource to guide you back at your organization when configuring a new OnBase solution, evaluating an existing solution or expanding your current OnBase solution.

OnBase System Administration Recertification

Explore how changes, new features and best practices directly impact OnBase system administration with a group of experienced OnBase System Administrators. We’ll discuss performance, administration, user acceptance, training, troubleshooting and more in an interactive, hands-on environment. Upon successful completion of this course, any individual who is (or was) an OnBase Certified System Administrator will have their certification status extended for two years. Please note that this session is not a substitute for the OnBase System Administration training course. While participants do not have to have attended OnBase System Administration training in the past, only those individuals who have been OnBase Certified System Administrators (OCSA) are eligible for the recertification component.

Would you like to have documents tied to your line of business application allowing your end users to see the full picture with a single click? Join us as we begin the journey of integrating Line of Business applications to Perceptive Content. We will drive through LearnMode learning the basics of configuration to create that connection.
